Hello, I have a brief public comment related to this Committee's past recommendation that legislative branch agencies create FOIA-like processes. Demand Progress has been following the Capitol Police Department's failure to develop FOIA-like regulations with concern.  Since the Department has made no public progress toward this goal, we drafted model regulations and submitted them to the Department for their consideration.  Our model public records regulations can be found here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/demandprogress/reports/Model_USCP_Public_Records_Regulations_2021-12.pdf
