Model EEO Compliance Program (MECP)

A Model EEO Compliance Program Plan provides the standard for establishing and maintaining a model EEO Program.  Plan content generally relates to problem assessment, statistical data, and narrative objectives. It is a working document with a life span of one to three years, with specific requirements set by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and supplemented by agency guidance. This program is to assess the agency’s performance using EEOC’s Six Essential Elements:

• Proactive Prevention
•  Efficiency
•  Responsiveness & Legal Compliance
