Inauguration FRC Closure

NARA is aware of general threats being made against federal government facilities and personnel leading up to Inauguration Day, January 20, 2021. We are not aware of any specific threats targeting NARA facilities or personnel, however, the safety of our staff is our top priority.

Effective January 17–21, all NARA facilities will be closed to protect our workforce and enhance security at all NARA facilities.

Due to these extenuating circumstances, the FRCs are not able to handle emergency reference requests during this time frame unless there is an immediate threat to life or property. If you have any questions, please contact your Account Manager.
