Wendy Ginsberg

Dr. Wendy Ginsberg is the Director of Congressional Affairs at the National Archives and Records Administration. Prior to assuming this role, Wendy was the Director of Subcommittees on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability in the 118th Congress, leading a team of 30 individuals to run five subcommittees. In the 117th Congress, Wendy served as Staff Director of the Government Operations Subcommittee where she drafted legislation, led congressional hearings, and performed various oversight duties to ensure the efficient and effective operations of the federal government. In 2024, the National Federation of Federal Employees awarded Wendy the "Friend of Feds 2025" award for her work on Capitol Hill. In 2022, Wendy was inducted into the National Academy of Public Administration as a fellow and selected as a Fed100, which recognized the top 100 individuals influencing federal information technology policy and operations.

Prior to working on Capitol Hill, Wendy was Senior Program Manager at the Partnership for Public Service, an organization that seeks to make the federal government more effective. Wendy also served as an analyst at the Congressional Research Service at the Library of Congress for nearly a decade. Wendy was a reporter for the New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Morris County Daily Record in New Jersey. Wendy has a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in political science from the University of Pennsylvania. Wendy currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania. She is married to a fellow New Jerseyan and has a daughter.
