SUBJECT: Checklist of NARA bulletins
1. Purpose.
This bulletin lists those previously issued
NARA bulletins that remain in effect.
2. Expiration date.
This bulletin expires September 30,
1998.
3. Background.
The National Archives and Records
Administration (NARA) issues NARA bulletins which contain guidance about records
and information management subjects within NARA's area of responsibility. The
first NARA bulletin of each fiscal year will be a checklist of previously issued
NARA bulletins that remain in effect. NARA's records and information management
regulations are found in Chapter XII of Title 36 of the Code of Federal
Regulations.
- Paper copies. NARA will send one copy of each NARA
bulletin to the head of each Federal agency. Agencies will be responsible for
duplication and distributing copies. Requests for additional copies of any
bulletin should be directed to the agency records officer.
- Electronic copies. NARA will post all current NARA bulletins on the NARA Web site.
4. NARA assistance.

bulletin dissemination, call the Office of Records Services - Washington, DC at
301-837-3570. To correct the mailing address for the head of the Federal agency,
