Move of Rural Electrification Administration Records (Record Group 221)

Staff at the National Archives at College Park are relocating 5.6 cubic feet of records of the Rural Electrification Administration (RG 221) from the National Archives at College Park to the National Archives at Kansas City.  Similar RG 221 textual records are currently located in the Kansas City area. This relocation will facilitate more efficient archival research and public access to these records.

Records to be relocated are:

Administrators State Files, UD 04W (National Archives Identifier: 25466139)

Administrator's State Files [Administrative Service Division, Communications and Records Management Branch], UD 08W 1 (National Archives Identifier: 25466143)

Estimated Closure Date at the National Archives at College Park: May 8, 2018

Estimated Date Available for Researchers at the National Archives at Kansas City: May 22, 2018
