Original caption: "Fence surrounds 400,000 gallon reservoir. Concrete laundry (open air) wash tubs constructed to replace old spring location. For many years the Cahuilla Indians used the water from a spring for washing their clothes. With their consent, CCC-ID constructed a 400,000 gallon reservoir which is supplied with water from the spring. In order to give the Indian people proper use of the water for washing clothes, this concrete wash trough was constructed."
