MEMORANDUM TO FEDERAL AGENCY CONTACTS: Re-issuance of GRS Transmittal 23

On September 16,  NARA issued GRS Transmittal 23.  We soon discovered that it contained a number of errors in the section "(Old) General Records Schedules 1-27" and in one of the crosswalks:

• Items in GRS 14, 18, 23 and 27 were shown as superseded by GRS 4.2, which has not yet been issued
•  There were incorrect new citations for superseded items in GRS 3 and 20
• There was an error in the crosswalk for GRS 3.2

The GRS Transmittal (attached) and website have been revised to correct these items. We apologize for any inconvenience.  Please contact GRS Team@nara.gov with any questions.
