MEMORANDUM TO FEDERAL AGENCY CONTACTS: New NARA Bulletin on Managing Records Created on Collaboration Platforms

I am pleased to announce that NARA has released new guidance: NARA Bulletin 2023-04, Managing Records Created on Collaboration Platforms. 

This bulletin addresses the management of federal records created when agencies use collaboration platforms. The capabilities of collaboration platforms are increasingly robust and can be used when working from any location. Within the federal government, these platforms provide an environment that supports rapid and effective collaboration. They have become a regular part of government work culture.
