Memorandum to Federal Agency Records Officers: Draft General Records Schedules for Agency Review - Revisions to Six Schedules

NARA invites federal agencies to comment on the following draft General Records Schedules (GRS):

• Revision of GRS 2.2, Employee Management Records
• Revision of GRS 2.3, Employee Relations Records
• Revision of GRS 2.4, Employee Compensation & Benefits Records
• Revision of GRS 2.6, Employee Training Records
• Revision of GRS 5.4, Facility, Equipment, Vehicle, Property, and Supply Records
• Revision of GRS 5.6, Security Management Records

These revisions reflect ongoing work to make the GRS more machine-implementable.

GRS review packages are posted on our website. Agencies can download the review package and comment form from the site. Send comment forms to GRS_Team@nara.gov by September 1, 2023.
