Memorandum to Federal Agency Records Officers: Draft General Records Schedules for Agency Review - Expansion of GRS 6.1 and Revisions to GRS 5.2

NARA is proposing expansion of two General Records Schedules (GRS):

• GRS 6.1, Email Managed under a Capstone Approach to include additional forms of electronic messages 
• Revision of GRS 5.2, Transitory and Intermediary Records

We invite federal agencies to comment on these drafts. GRS review packages are posted on our website. Agencies can download the review package and comment form from the site. Send comment forms to GRS_Team@nara.gov by the posted deadline.
 
Comments on these schedules will be accepted through June 17, 2022.
