Memorandum to Federal Records Management Contacts: Connecting with the Office of the Chief Records Officer for the U.S. Government
The Office of the Chief Records Officer is moving to a new tool -- Hubspot -- to manage email contacts and send out federal records management emails.
This is the first email my office is sending out using the new tool. If you think you have received this email in error, you can unsubscribe from our mailing list using the link in the footer section below. If you want to add additional email addresses to our mailing list, you can subscribe to the email list. If you have questions about this change, please reach out to rm.communications@nara.gov.
I hope this new tool will improve the timely delivery of emails to all of our federal records management colleagues, including those with .mil addresses. I want to note there are many paid tools available that manage email communication. NARA’s use of Hubspot is not an endorsement of this tool over any others.
As a reminder, there are many ways to connect with our office:
- Again, you can subscribe to federal records management emails and receive AC memos that provide information about federal records management policies, guidance, training opportunities, and BRIDG meetings.
- You can subscribe to the Records Express blog where we share information, such as reminders of emergency records resources, updates on various records management initiatives or projects, and items of general interest for the records management community.
- You can follow our Records Management Training program on our Facebook page and Twitter page to see the latest training news and training content.
Sometimes, we share the same information in both emails and our blog in order to reach as wide an audience as possible. We recommend that you subscribe to both as well as follow our social media presence.
In addition to these communication tools, you can also send emails directly to our teams, whose emails can be found on our Records Management Contacts webpage.
Thank you for connecting with us and I look forward to communicating and engaging with the ever-growing and evolving records management community.
LAURENCE BREWER
Chief Records Officer
