Memorandum to Senior Agency Officials for Records Management (SAORM): 2024 Senior Agency Official for Records Management (SAORM) Annual Report

Today marks the beginning of the Federal Agency Records Management Annual Reporting period for calendar year 2024. The template for the 2024 Senior Agency Official for Records Management (SAORM) Annual Report can be found on our website. 

As in previous years, your agency is required to complete the SAORM Annual Report. This report gathers data on how agencies complied with the goals of the OMB/NARA Update to Transition to Electronic Records (M-23-07) and other important records management initiatives. 

Please send the completed report to us at rmselfassessment@nara.gov by close of business on March 14, 2025.

Your SAORM report will be published on our website, so please ensure that your report is fully releasable and not restricted under FOIA.
