Additional Kennedy Assassination Documents Released
The FBI has made public additional documents on the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy. These documents add to the public record on the assassination, which already contains documents on Kennedy's assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, and Jack Ruby, the man who killed Oswald, as well as FBI documents monitoring threats against Kennedy's life and personal correspondence between Kennedy and former FBI director J. Edgar Hoover.
The documents include 50,000 pages of FBI materials; 20,000 pages of materials from the John F. Kennedy Library; approximately 3,000 pages of materials relating to Operation Mongoose; 20,000 pages from the collection of Richard Sprague; and 3,250 of miscellaneous records.
