1997/98 United States Government Manual Available
The 1997/98 edition of The United States Government Manual, the official guidebook to the Federal Government, is now available. The new 867-page Manual provides up-to-date information about the missions, programs, and activities of Federal agencies as well the names of top officials of each agency in the Clinton Administration and listings of Senators and U.S. Representatives. It also contains other useful information on the legislative, judicial, and executive branches of the government and comprehensive name and agency/subject indexes.
The Manual has been compiled and published by the Office of the Federal Register. It can be purchased for $40.00 from the Superintendent of Documents, Government Printing Office (GPO) (Stock Number 069-000-00072-0). All orders must be accompanied by remittance (check, money order, GPO Deposit Account, VISA, MasterCard or Discover) and mailed to the Superintendent of Documents, GPO, Box 371954, Pittsburgh, PA 15250-7954. Charge orders may be telephoned to the GPO Order Desk, Monday through Friday, at telephone (202) 512-1800, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Eastern time) or FAX your charge orders anytime to (202) 512-2250.
