The Records of the Johns Hopkins University Seminary of History and Politics are a facsimile edition of records of an institution that was a significant force in the development of American historiography in the late 19th century. It was at the Seminary that American historians Herbert Baxter Adams, Frederick Jackson Turner, Charles Andrews, Woodrow Wilson, and others presented ideas and papers on history, philosophy, and political topics. The seminary produced a record of its proceedings filled with synopses of the papers presented and the argument and debate of those present.
