Tiq for Torah Scroll

This is a tiq, or Torah scroll holder, used for reading the Torah in synagogue. It is made of wood and covered with velvet. It includes an unadorned glass insert and a painted glass inset for the tiq with a transcription in Hebrew עשאו סלימאן יחזקאל ברוך יצחק חיים סופר היו למנוח אשתו חביבה בת נחום כבאזה Aśu Salima’an Yeḥezḳel Barukh Yitsḥaḳ Ḥayim Sofer Hayu le-Manuaḥ Ishto Ḥavivah bat Naḥum Kabazah.

one comment and correction about the hebrew and the english translation:
its saliman-סלימאן not סלימאז - salimaz
can see it clearly by the shape of the ן hebrew word
