One page treated for exhibit. 1) MOLD REMEDIATION AND SURFACE CLEANING
The page was mold remediated with a HEPA filter Nilfisk vacuum and soft brushes in a fume hood. The page was then surface cleaned with Staedtler Mars plastic eraser crumbs.
2) HUMIDIFICATION AND FLATTENING
The page was humidified in a chamber and then flattened between blotters.
3) PAPER REPAIR
Tears were mended on the verso with acrylic-toned long fiber paper (Hiromi MMN-1 Tengucho), adhered with methyl cellulose and Aytex P wheat starch paste in a remoistenable tissue preparation.
