Project Solarium Exercise

Eisenhower Presidential Library

Visitors Center Auditorium
Tuesday, May 14, 2024 - 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CDT

This experiential learning program draws inspiration from Project Solarium, the historical national security exercise conducted during the Eisenhower Administration. Participants will have the opportunity to actively participate in a collaborative exercise, organized into three groups, with the collective goal of devising innovative strategies to counter the spread of Communism.

Attendees are encouraged to either bring their own pre-formed teams or join forces with new acquaintances. The highlight of this event will be the presentation of these strategies to "President Eisenhower," who will evaluate and select the most compelling proposal. This event is not only a unique platform to delve into history but also a chance to engage in strategic thinking, leadership development, and the cultivation of creativity and critical thought.

The 2024 program series is made possible courtesy of the Eisenhower Foundation with generous support from the Jeffcoat Memorial Foundation.
