After a delay due to the global pandemic, the formal dedication of The Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial in Washington, DC, will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2020. In conjunction with the opening, journalist and author Evan Thomas, author of Ike’s Bluff, will moderate a discussion with Louis Galambos, senior editor of The Papers of Dwight D. Eisenhower, William Hitchcock, author of The Age of Eisenhower, and Yanek Mieczkowski, author of Eisenhower’s Sputnik Moment. Presented by The Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission.
