Records Move from Atlanta to Boston

Staff at the National Archives at Atlanta are moving approximately 27,000 cubic feet of accessioned records to the Boston area. 

These records will be unavailable at the National Archives at Atlanta beginning approximately July 2024.

The records will become available at the National Archives at Boston beginning approximately October 2024.

Custody of the series of records listed below will transfer from the National Archives at Atlanta to the National Archives at Boston. All future reference requests will be handled by the staff in Boston. Any requests to use the records in person will be conducted in the research room in Boston and require two business days' advance notice. Reference requests should be submitted to: boston.archives@nara.gov
