  • On April 7, 2016, new implementing regulations went into effect for the Presidential Recordings and Materials Preservation Act of 1974 (PRMPA), which governs access to Nixon Presidential Historical materials. The regulations bring the Library's archival and museum review procedures in line with other Presidential Libraries which pre-date the Presidential Records Act of 1978. Among other changes, publication of a Federal Register notice and notice to individuals on a registry is no longer required before the Library can make materials available to the public.
