Johnson, his family, friends, associates, and his political and social activities at the White House and on trips. They were taken by the White House staff photographers and by other government departments. These materials are held by the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library (Austin, TX).Search Hint: To retrieve the 140 digitized photographs:
- Press the Yellow search button to go to the Archival Descriptions Search screen.
- To search only for archival descriptions that have digital copies, click the Digital Copies search button at the top of the ARC pages.
- Select the Advanced search.
- Scroll down to the Collection Identifier lookup filter. Press the lookup button.
- Enter the exact phrase {LBJ-WHPO} in the Keywords box.
- Press the Go button. The title of the Collection will display.
- Paste the collections into the advanced screen by pressing the All button. ARC will take you back to the Advanced Search Screen, with "LBJ-WHPO" now pasted in the Collection Identifier(s) box.
- Select the box marked Descriptions of Archival Materials linked to digital copies.
- Select the limit results radio button for 1000.
- Press the Go button. The result page will tell you 140 hit(s) were retrieved with filters applied.
- Press the Display all Hits button.
- When hits are returned for your search, view the full result of your hit by selecting the Title link.

Photographs of 15 artifacts from the Lyndon B. Johnson Museum Collection have been digitized. The collection consists of artifacts given to President Lyndon B. Johnson and his family during the years of his administration and to the Lyndon B. Johnson Museum subsequent to his administration up to present day. There are many different types of artifacts, including Head of State gifts; political memorabilia; personal, Johnson family, and administration artifacts; domestic gifts; as well as general artworks and artifacts relating to American history. There are approximately 50,000 items within the Museum Collection. These artifacts are held by the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library (Austin, TX).Search Hint: To retrieve the 15 digitized artifacts:

50 select entries from Lyndon Baines Johnson's President's Daily Diary have been digitized. Included are entries relating to the assassination of President Kennedy, diplomatic affairs, the Civil Rights Movement, labor disputes, planning for the Great Society, the growing involvement in Vietnam, as well as descriptions of daily activities. The secretaries outside the Oval Office prepared the Daily Diary. Juanita Roberts, the President's personal secretary, assigned the responsibility of preparing the Diary to secretaries in the office. This diary is held by the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library (Austin, TX).Search Hint: To retrieve the 50 digitized documents:
