     Approved by John N. Goodwin, Governor. In Accordance with an

     Act of the Legislature, Approved Oct. 23d, 1864. Certified

     October 12, 1865.

Manuscript. Map shows extent of public land surveys, towns,

roads, military posts, and Indian reservations in the general

area of the Salt and Gila River Valleys in the central part of

Arizona and along the Santa Cruz River Valley. The rest of

Arizona on this map is essentially blank except Fort Yuma and
