National Archives Welcomes Former First Lady Laura Bush June 23

Washington, DC…On Thursday, June 23, at 7 PM, at the National Archives, former First Lady Laura Bush will speak with Archivist of the United States David S. Ferriero about her memoir Spoken from the Heart, her role with the George W. Bush Institute, and her involvement in the planning of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.

This program is free and open to the public, and will take place in the William G. McGowan Theater of the National Archives Building in Washington, DC. Attendees should use the Special Events entrance, located on the National Mall at Constitution Ave. and 7th Street, NW. Metro accessible on the Yellow and Green lines, Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Quarter station.

Due to the popularity of this program, seating will be very limited, and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations will be accepted. Free tickets will be distributed at the National Archives special events entrance on Constitution Avenue, beginning one hour prior to the start time. You must be present to receive a ticket. Theater doors will open 30 minutes prior to start time. The saving of seats is strictly prohibited.
