FRC MEMORANDUM TO FEDERAL AGENCY RECORDS OFFICERS: Distribution of NA Form 13001, Disposal Notification Report, and Standard Form 258, Agreement to Transfer Records to the National Archives of the United States.

To ensure the appropriate and accurate destruction of records, the Federal Records Centers Program maintains a list for each agency detailing how NA Form 13001, Disposal Notification Report, should be routed. Disposal notices for an agency can be sent to the agency records officer, to another specified contact, or to the office that created the records. Please complete the attached form and specify how the notices for your agency should be distributed.

The Federal Records Centers Program is also creating a distribution list for Standard Form 258, Agreement to Transfer Records to the National Archives of the United States. To ensure these forms are routed to the appropriate person within your agency, please complete the attached form, Distribution of Standard Form 258, Agreement to Transfer Records to the National Archives of the United States.
