Sacrifice for Spain Poster

This poster notified students of a noontime rally at the student union. Two professors from the University of Kansas spoke at the rally, appealing to the students to support the Loyalist government in Spain. Questions were raised about whether campus politics influenced students to support the cause of the Loyalist government in Spain. After Henry's death, the committee appointed by the Board of Regents to investigate campus activities observed that "with a person possessing the brilliance of John Ise championing their cause and no person of equal prominence or ability presenting the other side of the question it is understandable why the young might have been influenced."
